The Sharp End Entrepreneurial Development Fund Committee would like to invite you to our 1st Grant Presentation. Our committee  has been working with a number of minority and women owned businesses for the past few months to identify how small grants can be used to help insert equity into businesses in targeted ways to help these business prosper. Our goal is to help businesses in multiple and diverse ways, such as assistance in entering new markets, acquiring key equipment to meet future growth projections and meeting key management consulting objectives for business owners. 10 companies have been selected out of the 33 companies that applied for this grant. These 10 finalists have received a customized training class provided by REDI on “how business present your business” and an extensive one on one interview by our selection committee to identify how we can best support their business objectives. $20,000 in targeted grand awards will be shared by these firms. Our 10 finalist are:

1. Caring Cars: Owner; Anthony Conway
2. Exclusive Cuts: Owner; Ernest Daniels
3. GoPo Gourmet Popcorn: Owner; Brooke Bartlett
4. Infiltronics: Owner; Kathleen Trauth
