Hello,
My name is Caitlin DeSpain, and I am a member of P.A.G.E. We are a local organization dedicated to supporting national and local charities. Our upcoming event is a trivia night and silent auction benefiting End the Backlog, on March 23rd at the Maplewood Barn Theatre. I am reaching out regarding volunteer opportunities for our event! We are a fairly small group, so we are in need of extra hands on deck to allow us to run our event smoothly and raise the most we can for End the Backlog. Our sign up sheet can be found on our website here: https://pagemidmo.com/volunteer/
End the Backlog is an initiative dedicated to eliminating the backlog of untested rape kits across the United States. There are currently over 200,000 untested kits sitting in medical facilities and law enforcement agencies across the country, kits that have the ability to provide survivors with closure and potentially link multiple crimes and stop offenders. Attached is more information on this initiative.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks so much,
Caitlin DeSpain
