Please join the Columbia NAACP for Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 21.

The celebration will begin at at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial at Battle Garden for a short, 15-minute ceremony. Following the ceremony, we will motorcade with police escort to Second Missionary Baptist Church. The service at the church will begin after the motorcade arrives, around 12 noon. Ruby Bailey, the executive editor of the Columbia Missourian, will be the keynote speaker.

Following the service at the church, a meal will be served that is free and open to the public.
