Important Change in Plans: Due to anticipated snow and cold temperatures the entire event will be held indoors in the Missouri Theatre at 203 S. Ninth St.

We are gathering again! But this time, we do so with renewed hope and vigor because the tide is changing! Be a part of something big – a wave crossing the nation of people vowing to work together to create a world that is peaceful, just and sustainable! The Mid-Missouri Solidarity Network, a network of organizations in the mid-Missouri area, is bringing you our 3rd march and rally in response to the direction our country has been going since the 2016 elections.

Make your voice heard in support of this movement! Bring your signs, banners, bullhorns and whatever else you need to bring attention to the causes you support.

We will gather at the Missouri Theatre at 1 p.m. Speakers will include Barb Kuensting, student activist from the University of Missouri, Michela Skelton, vice-chair of the Missouri Democratic Party Progressive Caucus, Reverend Cassandra Gould , director of Missouri Faith Voices, and Carolyn Amparan, chair of the Sierra Club Osage Group. All this leads up to a keynote address from author and activist, Frances Moore Lappé. We will also hear from our musical guests, Violet & the Undercurrents. And there’ll be special presentations by Louder Than A Bomb, youth poetry slam competitors.

Please RSVP here, or, for more info contact us at 573-875-0539 or by mail@midmopeaceworks.org.
