We began the summer with a Safe Summer Rally as well as weekly prayer walks in various areas of our community. To end the summer, we will host our Back to School Rally. Our focus will be to provide clothing and shoe vouchers for community youth as they prepare to go back to school.
The evening will begin at 6:00 PM at Douglass Park where Columbia community leaders and members will rally and provide clothing vouchers for community youth at Douglass Park. The STV Back to School Rally will not contain an adversarial presentation or disposition, but is intended to bring community awareness, unity and engagement to address a variety violent issues that plague our community. During the Rally we will hear from community members and leaders offering opportunities and input to continue community safety.
